A fifth of employees enjoy 13th wage

Sme daily published an article on a recent poll by Platy.sk that quotes that around a fifth of employees in Slovakia get a year-end thirteenth salary bonus or some other remuneration.

The average bonus salary is EUR 837, but some top managers enjoyed 13th salaries of around EUR 2,241.

It is mostly large companies that can afford to give their employees the special bonus, but even small companies with up to 10 employees pay the benefit to around 11% of their staff.
