Bratislava To Shine with ‘White Night’ 2016, 8 October

We would like to invite you to the 2nd edition of White Night festival in Bratislava!

The biggest and most visited international festival of contemporary art in Slovakia has become the most important cultural event of Košice.

8,- Eur – includes all interior installations and installations in enclosed areas. Admittance is free for children up to 15 years of age and senior citizens.
Non-enclosed exterior installations remain free of charge.

What is White Night?

White Night materialises the desire to (again) discover a city environment which is given a new dimension via art. A city becomes an interactive space for one night and its normal night cycle ceases to exist for a few hours. Music and light installations of contemporary will breathe life into the city night and therefore the night becomes “white”.

The White Night is a prestigious international art project with an objective to introduce to the general public new forms of contemporary art as well as unique, unfamiliar and outstanding nooks of the world cities.

In 2002, The White Night was established in Paris and current participation reaches more than three million people. In following years the project has spread from Paris to other cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Santa Monica, Montreal, Toronto, Rome, Tel Aviv, Madrid, Brussels, Riga, Bucharest, Amsterdam, Brighton, Turin, Naples, Košice and Bratislava.
