A tornado swept through Diósjenő in the region of Nógrád yesterday, uprooting trees and tossing them onto electricity poles and cars. There were gale-force winds, with hailstones as large as walnuts. A storm on Sunday left around 60,000 consumers without electricity, 9,200 of which were still without power on Monday afternoon.
