Education Ministry Calls Tender for English Textbooks

The Ministry of Education is calling a new tender for the supply of English textbooks for elementary school pupils, who from September will have compulsory English lessons from the third year.

The Ministry wants to procure almost 5,700 textbooks for pupils through an electronic auction for around EUR 60,000 excluding VAT, where the cheapest offer will win the tender.

Anyone satisfying the qualification requirements can present their tenders to the Ministry by 15 August, with a delivery term of around two months.

Schools will basically be without most of their textbooks at the beginning of this school year in September, and many are also still battling with how to deal with the increased need for English teaching.
