Transport minister Jan Figel has announced plans of the company EUROLOT to launch flights from Poprad to Warsaw and Gdansk in Poland, with flights expected to start from the second week in December.

EUROLOT plans to fly to and from the two major polish cities twice a week on Thursday and Sunday, making it perfect for a long weekend and in time for the Christmas holidays.

Figel pointed out how the new flights could open up the way for Poprad Airport to gain investment for modernisation and further development.
