Government Hints at Attorney General Candidate

The ruling Smer-SD party of Robert Fico has apparently selected its candidate for the long vacant and much disputed post of Attorney General, with the name of Jaromir Ciznar being pushed to the fore.

Ciznar was proposed by the Council of prosecutors, and with no other candidates in sight for the deadline of this Friday, the comments of Smer-SD representatives seem to indicate that Ciznar could fill the post nicely. PM Fico also made it clear that his governing party would only back someone who has the endorsement of the other prosecutors.

Lest our resident linguistic experts fire in with an intelligent riposte, I of course meant to write – not in the church.

Wonderful. Tonight, I will at last get a good nights sleep knowing that the legal system will once again be magnificently squeaky clean.Such stalwarts of democratic principles should be rewarded with Nobel Peace Prizes, or at the very least cannonised. No, in the church, but in an howitzer.

I can’t find anything of interest about Mr Ciznar. Could this be because he is a shrub or just better at under the carpet sweeping?
Strange, BnM and the Bandits now insisting that the GP post must be filled as a matter of urgency yet said jack while Gaspar sat on his upholstery for over 18 months deciding Centes fate.

DC. Oh no, he is not a shrub, more a plant . I love the line, Fico also made it clear that his governing party would only back someone who has the endorsement of the other prosecutors.

What is this a beauty pageant or a Mr Popular in the prosecutors office Contest ??
