Industrial output up 17.3% in November
Overall industrial production was up 17.3% year-on-year in November 2010 thanks chiefly to growth in machinery production by 37.9%, transport means by 30.3% and computers and electronics by 29%.
The figures released by the Statistical Office SR show only a slight improvement in construction output, which in November 2010 were 0.7% higher than in November 2009. On a month-on-month basis, while accounting for seasonal influences, output was up 1.1% over October.
