New Armaments, Engineering and Automotive Jobs

The company ZWL Slovakia plans to create 170 new jobs in its plant in Sucany. The reason is planned expansion of the production of steel rotation components. The company plans to invest EUR 1.8 million. The project is about to start already in mid-2012 and should be completed a year later.

A new company in Kremnicke Bane should open 260 new jobs there. The company Sitno Holding and Ceska Zbrojovka plans to build there a new weapons production plant. The joint venture will focus on hunting and sporting rifles and also on firearms destined for armed forces.

Volkswagen Slovakia has completed recruitment of new employees for the production of small city vehicles in Bratislava. It has hired over 1,500 people. People up to the age of 25 make up nearly two-thirds of all new hired staff. Approximately half of them were previously unemployed.
