No change yet to public procurement law

The government’s plans to revise the law on public procurement have been postponed as the proposal put forward by the public procurement authority UVO was not suitable.

The amendment of the Act on Public Procurement will make electronic auctions compulsory for contracting authorities, but the coalition was not happy with UVO’s draft.

Now the government has stated that it would prepare a fresh law by June next year.
