Roma Plenipotentiary Condemns Vote Buying and Selling
Government plenipotentiary for Roma issues Miroslav Pollak has pleaded to Roma not to sell their votes for money or other favour, which many do out of desperation at their financial and material situation.
Pollak underlined the importance of every individual expressing their decision in the elections with this democratic right. He made a plea to all municipalities, political parties and people witnessing corrupt practices or vote buying in the elections to report the issue. His comments come after cases appeared of a group of Roma offered election candidates deals.
