Three quarters of households with PC; 68% internet

As many as three quarters of all Slovak households are equipped with a computer of sorts, according to the latest data published by the Statistical Office SR. In the case of households with minors, the percentage is even as high as 94.4%.

Overall, internet is enjoyed by around 68% of households, with over one third of Slovaks being partial to shopping over the internet. In the past year as much as 33.5% of them used the internet to purchase goods or services on-line.

The purchases were mostly for clothing, household goods, and books.
