The border police in East Slovakia had their hands full yesterday, after capturing 22 immigrants. Some of them are suspected of being human traffickers.
Already in the morning the police caught two Moldovans near Snina after being tipped off by their Ukrainian counterparts. They were extradited back to Ukraine.
A Ukrainian was caught making his second attempt to enter Slovakia illegally, after having been caught once before. He is now being investigated under suspicion that he might be on the run.
This capture was followed by the arrival of six Afghans, and Iranian and a man from Bangladesh in the Sobrance District. They are being detained at the Border Police Centre in Sobrance.
Three minors from Somalia were caught later in the Snina District, together with another five Afghans and three Ukrainians. The Ukrainians are suspected of being traffickers.
