The National Property Fund (FNM), which is to be abolished completely at the end of the year, said goodbye to the complete management yesterday, 28 July.
The new government decided the best thing to do was clear the table by replacing all top managers with immediate effect. Anna Bubenikova has been given the role of heading the Executive Board of the Fund, with the remaining four members also being appointed by the cabinet, namely Pavol Faktor, Jozef Petrasko, Daniel Vegh and Dionyz Stehlik.
This is quite a change because the Executive Committee to date comprised 11 members, led by Vladimir Kocourek, but the amendment to the Act that downsized the top board took effect on 1 July. The assets and responsibilities held by the National Property Fund will be transferred gradually during the course of this year.
