In July the deficit in the state budget fell slightly to EUR 2.41 billion from the EUR 2.44 billion seen at the close of June, according to figures released by the Ministry of Finance.
The Ministry also said that budget receipts had risen 4% y/y to EUR 6.04 billion at the end of July, but that they were still far from half of the o
riginal annual plan.
State expenditures grew a quarter y/y to EUR 8.44 billion, which works out at 51.9% of the annual projection.
