The residential segment of the gas and electricity markets in Slovakia has been ‘liberalised’ for some time, but it was of little interest to most alternative suppliers to date.
Now, Czech energy concern CEZ has released its price list for households and small commercials, displaying its intent to compete on this segment of the gas and electricity markets. The company’s Slovak branch presented the price list today.
Head of the trade division, Alan Svoboda, is reported by TASR newsire as saying customers could save up to 10% on bills compared to traditional suppliers.
[…] The company stated that the residential segment of the gas market is now showing signs of positive development, citing changes to regulation as a key factor, and so it plans to take advantage of it. It will now start competing with dominant player SPP-Distribucia and other recent arrivals to the segment, including Czech energy giant CEZ. […]
