Companies discriminate EU newcomers in product quality

Surprisingly, foods and drinks of the same brand taste differently in different EU member states. This is so because big international companies like Coca-Cola tend to send lower quality output off to the former Soviet satellites.

This shocking information was released by the Slovakian department of EURACTIV, quoted by the local consumers’ association. The taken samples clearly show that big international companies export products of one and the same brand but of different quality to the different EU member states.

The Slovakian consumers’ association tested the quality of products of one and the same brand bought in eight different EU member states: Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. “The lower quality projects go to the EU newcomers, while the top quality products always go to western markets,” the Association chief Mr. Milos Lauko said.
