Private airline Danube Wings is starting to sell tickets for regular flights from Bratislava to Split and Zadar and from Kosice to Rijeka in Croatia in preparation for the summer season.

The airline operates the flights every year and this year will start flying holidaymakers from Bratislava to their Croatian destinations from 16 June, with the Kosice to Rijeka flights starting on 21 June.
All the flights take about 1.5 hours and prices start from EUR 49 one-way, rising as demand increases. General director of the airline, Ján Rostáš, boasted about the success of the flights last year when it enjoyed an 82% occupancy rate on flights to Split, for instance.
