Two police officers near Zlate Moravce have some explaining to do after a drunk biker they had chased managed to get away in their police patrol car yesterday.
The 23-yr old was driving his motorbike under the influence, which the police noticed and so followed him. The details of what happened are being investigated, but it seems that one of the officers lost the car keys when pursuing the man into a bar after he had parked his bike up.
The man apparently found the keys, jumped into the police car and sped off. He was later breathalised, showing 1.21 per mille of alcohol in his blood.
They were probably more drunk than he was then. Either that, or they sold him their police car to escape in. This Slovakia after all .
