Foreign affairs minister Mikulas Dzurinda arrives back today from a quick 2-day trip to Finland, as the first Slovak foreign minister to visit the country in five years.
Dzurinda went to Finland at the invitation of his counterpart, Alexander Stubb, with whom he discussed various European issues and potential areas of bilateral co-operation, including research and development and innovation.
During his trip Druzinda is also meeting with the head of the Finnish parliament, parliamentary speaker Sauli Niinistom. Their talks centre around the global economy and ways of dealing with the aftershocks of the world economic crisis.
