The economic sentiment indicator for Slovakia improved in August, according to the Statistical Office SR.
It went up in August by 1.1 points from the previous month to reach 93.6 points. This positive development was boosted from rising confidence in trade, but negated by other factors entering the calculation.
Year-on-year the economic sentiment indicator rose by 20.3 points, which is 4.8 points down over the long-term average.
