Fears over security of Prime Minister

The PM's Mercedes is not secure enough anymore

Fears for the security of Slovak PM Iveta Radicova have increased recently after she received a package at her home in Nova Dedinka containing an empty cartridge. Now she is being transported in a special armoured Audi with a specially trained driver and her daughter has also been allocated a bodyguard.

The increased threat comes after her statements about changing the law on gambling and about eliminating the embezzlement of public funds. Since she received the threatening consignment, she has been living under special security mode with an increased level of protection.
