Leader in electronic manufacturing services (EMS), the company Foxconn, will be recruiting more staff for the TV making plant in Nitra that it acquired last year from Sony.
At present Foxconn employs a 3,000 strong workforce in Slovakia, which it now wants to increase by an additional 900 or so workers as part of its plan to increase the capacity of the plant from 3 million to 4.5 million sets.
Foxconn is the world leader in the contract assembly of electronics and computer goods, with its clients including the likes of Apple, Nokia, Dell and Sony.
