Government manifesto to be agreed by Wednesday

Slovak Parliament

The Coalition Council is set to meet this evening at the SDKU-DS headquarters to discuss the government manifesto and look at the practicalities of the pre-election promises of the four coalition parties (SDKU-DS, SaS, KDH and Most-HID). The official manifesto for the four-year term should be approved by the government on Wednesday, 28 July.

The new government ministers had until 20 July to submit the reference documents for the manifesto, which should mirror the programme theses that the coalition agreed on already on 22 June.

Once it gets the thumbs up from the government, PM Radicova will present the manifesto to parliament on 3 August, at which time the cabinet will also be facing a confidence vote.
