Robert Fico will present his government’s Manifesto for a confidence vote in parliament today, with the opposition parties already criticising it as being too general.
The actual vote is not expected to take place until tomorrow afternoon, though, as the parliamentary session will be adjourned today after the Manifesto is presented, giving the opposition and members of government time to debate the document.
Opposition parties have been referring to the document as lacking specifics and of being too general, but they can contest or debate as much as they want, because Robert Fico’s government has enough of a parliamentary majority (83/150) to ensure that it endorses the document.
