Heavyweight Frank “Black Panther” Muñoz which represents Spain will fight against the young and promising Croat Antonio Plazibat in up to 95 kg division. Initially the opponent of Croat supposed to be a well-known Slovakian fighter Lukas Horak. Unfortunately, Horak got injured and was out of the tournament. Muñoz took up the challenge in a two-week notice.
Spanish fighter has got the title of Spain’s two-time boxing champion, Spain champion under professional Muay Thai rules. In 2013, Muñoz became SUPERKOMBAT World Grand Prix Tournament champion. In the same year, he was awarded as Sportsman of the year in Ciutadella de Menorca and listed as honorary citizens of Ciutadella de Menorca
Plazibat, is younger, his features are remarkable fighting qualities and character which he fully demonstrated in such a duel as bout against the strongest representative of Lithuania Sergei Masloboev.
Bright battle awaits all the fans of the middleweight where Darryl “KO specialist” Sichtman, the Netherlands, will meet Jasmin Bajrovic, Croatia. Recall that at the last W5 tournament, which took place on June 18 in Prievidza, Sichtman in a competitive bout lost to the renowned Vladimir Idranyi by decision. June 4 in Zagreb Bajrovic landed powerful uppercut and put an end to the fight against the representative of the Czech Republic Jakub “Pretorian” Gazdik, showing spectacular and technically battle. Dutch-Croatian opposition will be held in the up to 77 kg weight division, while Darryl Sichtman is two times W5 World champion in the category up to 75 kg.
As very young and talented fighter can be noted 19-year-old Croat Andrej Kedves with a loud and worldwide well-recognized nickname the “AK-47.” Andrej was supposed to meet with Jan Szajko, but this fighter jump out of the bout without explanation. 24 days before the tournament Kedves got the new opponent, the Slovak fighter Tomas Cincik which is 10 years older than Andrej.
Guests of the tournament will be able to see again the spectacular fights by Serbian fighters from “Ronin Gym” Marko “Doctor” Adamovic and Nikola “Ronin Jr.” Cimesa.
Changing two potential opponents – Milan Pales and Christian Baya – Adamovic finally got approved competitor in the face of very tough representative of Albania Lirim “Albanian Stallion” Ahmeti. Lirim recently chalked up a competitive fight with Cedric Manhoef and defeated Patrik Storz. Misa Baculov who is the co-owner of “Ronin Gym” of Serbia together with Nathan “Carnage” Corbett and also trainer of Nikola Cimesa and Marko Adamovic said that they are can’t waiting to meet again with Vlado and anticipating the long-awaited revenge.
