Entrepreneurs from Hong Kong have been speaking to economy minister Juraj Miskov about establishing a special logistics centre in Slovakia to deal with air cargo.
A group of businesspeople from Hong Kong, including deputy head of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Margaret Fong, outlined the plan to Miskov, who gave his support for the initiative. Now they should approach the Ministry of Transport to map out the details.
The delegation also expressed an interest in exporting Slovak wines to Hong Kong, and they hope to have a Memorandum of Understanding in place with Slovakia before the international wine fair planned for the autumn in Hong Kong.
They also spoke about certain investments with higher added value, which minister Miskov is particularly enthusiastic about, and Mrs. Fong pointed out that Hong Kong is looking for options in the area of science and research.
