Millionaire businessman Mario Hoffman is just about to buy a 24% stake in the J&T Finance Group, as part of the group’s expansion and restructuring goals, with the deal expected to bring in some EUR 200 million to the company.
Entrepreneur Hoffman, the owner of the powerful Istrokapital group, jumped on the opportunity of buying into the financial giant. The news broke yesterday after being published on Czech financial daily Hospodarske Noviny, with Hoffman becoming the third owner of the J&T group along with Jozef Tkac and Ivan Jakabovic, who hold the remaining shares equally.
