Justice Minister attacks the ‘bad blood’ in her sector

At the parliamentary session today, 6 August, Justice Minister Lucia Zitnanska (SDKU-DS) accused the former Robert Fico government of letting a dubious group of individuals gain control of the sector.

She believes these people are exploiting their position, and are “acting like they have no interest in public opinion and is taunting it. Zitnanska mentioned as an example the case of the excessive bonuses handed out at the Justice Ministry, while also pointing to the Supreme Court’s arrogant refusal to let the Finance Ministry’s auditors do their work.

“For some time now the judiciary has been trusted by less than 30 percent of the population,” she said.

When looking at certain facts and affairs, it is hardly suprising she feels this way.
