Kuwait wants Slovak medical experts

Slovakia and Kuwait have agreed on closer co-operation in the health sector, following a meeting between Kuwaiti Ambassador to Slovakia, Bader Nasser Al-Houti and Secretary of state for the Ministry of Health, Ian Browisky.

The officials discussed possible ways of assisting each other’s healthcare systems, with Kuwait hoping to make use of the expertise of Slovak doctors, especially in the fields of cardiology and oncology. Slovakia, on the other hand, is hope to attract Kuwait investors to the sector.

This lays the groundwork for co-operation agreements to be drawn up between the two countries on stronger mutual cooperation.
