The Slovak national biathlon team set off for Russia this week in the hope of winning more medals for Slovakia in the Biathlon World Championships. One of their biggest hopes, ironically, is former Russian citizen Anastasia Kuzminova.
Kuzminova is determined to get another medal, although she says the weather can also play a part in the outcome of the biathlon events. She is most hopeful about her chances in her best event, the sprint.
Kuzminova will not have it easy, though, as there are several favourites, including German hopefuls Magdalena Neuner and Andrea Henkel, or Norwegian Tora Berger and Finn Kaisa Mäkäräinen.
