A human tragedy occurred Thursday afternoon in Kosice region when a man set himself on fire in a railway tunnel between Ťahanovce and Kostoľany nad Hornádom stations.
A train driver noticed the burning man as he approached the tunnel at around 3.30pm and so stopped the train, Kosice Korzar reports.
All that the police found when they got there was a motionless corpse. The man had left a suicide note for his family in his Citroen Berlingo car, which was parked nearby.
