The Ministry of Finance plans to launch an internet forum that will get the public involved in finding ways to save money in public finances. The forum should be launched in November, according to a government-approved proposal on short-term priorities.
The forum hopes to get people to draw attention to cases of squandering public money, which the government might then use in putting together the public administration budget.
The rules for granting state subsidies will also be revised to make them more transparent and more efficient. All legal norms concerning subsidies should be adapted by December 2010 and should see the participation of all ministries in the process.
