The main focus of the training will be on ways to combat top economic criminality, with the hope that punishing cases of financial fraud will increase in volume in Slovakia. Minister Lipsic pointed out, though, how the perpetrators are using increasingly sophisticated software and methods for their frauds.

Hence the arrival of the FBI, from which the Slovak police force hope to gain valuable experience in this area. The details of the co-operation will be mapped out in the coming weeks.
