Police have confirmed that the black BMW that was found yesterday in the town of Vrable belongs to lawyer Roman Ozvold, who has been missing since last Wednesday.
The police were called in after locals found it curious that the car had been parked there for a few days. On investigation the police discovered blood on the back seat, with evidence of at least five gun shots. Forensic experts will now determine if the blood is that of Ozvold.
Ozvold was last seen leaving the Reduta Casino in Bratislava last Wednesday, and there are speculations that his disappearance could be related to debts or even his former role in national lottery company Tipos, where he was chairman of the Supervisory Board until last year.
When interior minister Daniel Lipsic was queried at a press conference today if the case could be related to Tipos and the brutal murder of prominent lawyer Ernest Valko, the minister said he would not like to speculate or comment on cases pending.
