The southern Slovak town of Levice is continuing to attract investors and in March will start preparing a new brown field industrial estate covering 18,200 m2.
The town already has already successfully set up an industrial park, which is now occupied by several foreign investors, and so it hopes to produce yet another success story with the help of EUR 9.3 million in EU funding. This funding will cover as much as 95% of the set-up costs.
The new brown field estate contains two large halls, which the town hopes to rent out and so help generate around 100 more jobs for the town. This should be no problem as the companies Roez and Hadvicak have already expressed their intent to lease out the premises for 15 years as part of their expansion plans.
