Budget airline Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (also named Norwegian) has announced the launch of 34 new routes from Scandinavia to destinations in Europe, including new lines from Copenhagen and Oslo to Bratislava.
The announcement means that from the summer the company should be operating direct flights to and from the Slovak capital twice a week, Roman Payer from the Austrian Aviation Net informed The Daily.
Lasse Sandaker-Nielsen from the airline told the Austrian Aviation Net that the company believed the route to Bratislava had huge potential. The company already operates flights to Vienna, but is cutting back on flights from Copenhagen, moving them to Bratislava.
Other destinations that Norwegian is starting up include flights from Oslo to Kiev, Reykjavik and Skiathos, from Copenhagen to Belgrade, Marseille and Milan, and from Stockholm to Amsterdam and Krakow.
