Private airline Danube Wings has announced the start of regular flights from Bratislava and Košice to Venice in Italy in co-operation with Italian airline Megaride Air.
There will be three flights a week to Marco Polo Airport in Venice, with Megaride covering part of the route operating costs. Danube Wings believes the new route will not only serve those travelling on business, but will also cater for the upcoming tourist season.
Flying from Kosice will mean stopping over in Bratislava, from where the flights will take around 90 minutes to reach their destination. The airline will launch the new flights on April 6.
