This Saturday, 25 September, the National Bank of Slovakia (NBS) will be having an Open Day, so visitors can see the workings of the country’s financial institute.
Visitors will get a full tour around the NBS building, see confiscated counterfeit money and discuss counterfeiting with experts, meet NBS governor Jozef Makuch, watch NBS films, and visit 3 exhibitions on the euro.
To coincide with the event, the Museum of Coins and Medals in Kremnica, the NBS archive and library and the European Central Bank (ECB) are also promoting their own activities.
Every visitor can mint their own special coin as a souvenir of Open Day at the National Bank of Slovakia.
