Following pressure from opposition party Smer-SD, a special parliamentary session has been convened for Thursday on the issue of motorway construction.
Parliamentary chairman Richard Sulik took the decision based on 50 MPs signing to convene the session, with a minimum of just 30 required. Former transport minister Lubomir Vazny told TASR newswire that the current government had failed to deal properly with the process of motorway construction, and so he and his party are demanding a timetable from the government.
