In addition to all kinds of information leaflets and pamphlets, hockey fans visiting the ice Hockey World Championships in Bratislava will also be able to avail of information about the cities and matches etc. through a mobile phone application, also via Bluetooth services.
Patric Fojtu of BTW network, which produced the mobile phone application in collaboration with the city of Bratislava, said the system should be user-friendly as the main demographic group is 25-45 year olds.
The Bluetooth guide will be accessible at eight locations in Bratislava where the main bulk of fans are expected to frequent, including the Fan Zones. Information leaflets on how to use the systems will be distributed to fans.
