PM Radicova off to UK for talks with Cameron

Prime Minister Iveta Radicova will be happy to take a break from the Slovak political scene as she heads off to the UK today for a 2-day official visit, informs TASR newswire.

Among other things, Radicova will be meeting her British counterpart David Cameron and his liberal party sidekick, deputy PM Nick Clegg, with discussions centering around relations between the UK and Slovakia. Other areas of focus will be the Pact for the Euro, the 2012 EU budget, migration in the EU, as well as the current situation in Libya, the Middle East and Afghanistan.

Slovakia’s stance to the EFSF and now the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) are also likely to be a topic of discussion between Radicova and Cameron, as Slovakia once again could be the blacksheep by rejecting the new ESM, something that coalition party SaS looks set to do.
