Prime minister Iveta Radicova will lead the Slovak delegation at an extraordinary summit of the European Union set for 16 September next week, at which foreign affairs minister Mikulas Dzurinda will also attend.
The meeting has been convened by European Council president Herman van Rompuy, and will cover a broad range of issues like the bloc’s ties with strategic partners and ways to boost economic governance. The meeting will also look at the European Neighbourhood Policy and the accession prospects of Balkan countries.
