A 36-year old Scot was attacked this week at a guest house in Kosice by a Polish and a Romanian man, after an argument broke out.

Kosice police spokeswoman Jana Mesárová informed TASR newswire that the police have now charged the two men for causing bodily harm and breach of the peace, but they are not being held in custody.

The Scottish man sustained injuries that will take about a month and a half to treat. The men will come back for the court case and could face up to two years in jail for their aggressive behaviour.
