Rail company ZSR posts EUR 101.5m loss in 2010

Slovak railway infrastructure operator Zeleznice Slovenskej Republiky (ZSR), which could be facing privatisation, posted a loss of EUR 101.5 million in 2010. This was EUR 10.55 million more than in 2009.

The company has already announced around 2,700 job cuts, to be made by the end of 2012, this as part of compulsory restructuring, which will also see the company implement new infrastructure management and maintenance systems.
