Newswire SITA reports that a shipment of humanitarian aid that Slovakia is sending to Palestine was cleared by customs on Tuesday 16 November and should reach the Palestinian town of Nablus at the beginning of December.
The shipment comprises medical supplies worth EUR 287,030 from the State Material Reserves and the Ministry of Health. The items include sterilisers, surgical drills, parts for medical devices and hygienic aprons.
The aid is being shipped to Ashdod in Israel and then forwarded to Nablus. “We estimate the shipment will reach Palestine at the end of November or beginning of December,” said Natalia Hattalova from the Ministry of Interior for SITA.
