Yesterday saw Slovakia endorse co-operation with the USA when economy minister Juraj Miskov signed a Cooperation declaration in Civil Nuclear Energy technology in the presence of US Ambassador to Slovakia, Theodore Sedgwick.
Miskov underlined the importance of the declaration in showing Slovakia’s readiness to take the necessary steps to boost international co-operation in the field of nuclear energy. The declaration, signed last week by the USA, aims to support the nuclear energy sector and related services, and increase co-operation in the area of education, while paving the way for constructive international dialogue on nuclear affairs.
