The group landed at Kosice Airport yesterday afternoon before being transferred to an asylum centre in Humenne in East Slovakia. They will remain in Slovakia for up to six months before being relocated to a different country.

The smallest refugee is just seven months, while the oldest is 55. While in Slovakia the Ministry of Interior will assist them with everything necessary, except medical and social assistance, which the UNHCR is responsible for.
