The Slovak national party SNS has declared that it would never support Kosovo’s independence. It also condemns the pressure that is being put on Serbia by some EU members prior to the voting on a UN resolution.
SNS party chairman Jan Slota spoke out against the approach of some members, saying “Diplomatic pressure on Serbia raises doubt over the objectivity of partnership in the European Union”. He also expressed his conviction that Slovakia would hold strong in its opposition to recognising Kosovo’s independence.
