Standard and Poor’s Downgrades Rating For Slovakia

National Bank of Slovakia (c) Frettie

Slovakia was among the nine countries that had their rating downgraded by Standard & Poor’s at the weekend, chiefly because of the prevailing crisis in the eurozone, with the new rating set at A- with stable outlook.

The downgrade didn’t affect Slovakia as heavily as the other countries, and it is not expected to have any major impact on the markets.
