Slovak parliamentary chairman Richard Sulík will give a speech at a meeting with his counterparts from the Visegrad Four countries (Poland, Hungary, Czech R. and Slovakia) today and tomorrow.
His speech will focus on social inclusion of the Roma minority and related issues. “One proposal is the consistent inclusion of this issue in the agenda of the rotating V4 presidency, as it requires an exceptionally sensitive approach,” relayed Sulík’s spokeswoman, Tatiana Tothova.
Tothova also informed that the Roma question is the main topic of the summit organised by Sulik. Slovakia took over the rotating V4 presidency on 1 July with the motto “Effective Visegrad – Continuity, Cohesion, Solidarity and Information”.
